Senior Art Show
This past week I ventured back to Michigan yet again. My daughter Lindsay had one of the last legs of her college experience showcased! She is finishing her degree for a Bachelor in Fine Arts at Grand Valley State University. Lindsay had to complete work and showcase it to finish her credits. This took place last Thursday evening. What fun!
I had dreamed of pursuing my love of art when I was in high school. Watching my daughter as a young woman, dressed so beautifully with her hard work proudly displayed for all to see was awesome! Her focus is in print-making and that is what is showcased here. She designs a drawing and through processes etches that drawing into a copper plate. From there she is able to make prints from the plate and no two are alike! Her central theme was Natural Disasters and Relationships. Yeah, something we can all relate to! I am so proud to say she is my daughter and congratulate her on a perfect gallery showing! I love you without limits my girl! The night was filled with excitement, family support and class.
Now, on to college graduation!!!
