Yup, I finally got one! I was using my MacPro for business. Showing presentations and creative production to clients. The MacPro is my personal, home computer and I was growing more concerned about it’s life. Little quirky issues were arising so it was time to have our business buy me a new computer OR come up with another solution. It needed to be mobile and allow me to effectively work on our clients social media campaigns, check and respond to email and easily showcase new commercials for client review. The answer? Apple iPad.
It’s pretty spectacular! Lots of versitility and easy of use. But if you’re looking at a iPad as a mini computer…you will be disappointed. There are apps that allow you to adapt elements to use as a temporary computer substitute, but it is NOT a personal computer. It works wonderfully for taking note, reading pdf documents and so much more! In the coming months I’ll be exploring more and more business uses and sharing them! When it comes to eating I would categorize myself as more of a “snack-er”. Whether eating little meals throughout the day is the way to weight loss or just an obsessive way to intake nutrition, it’s my preference. Attending to our marketing agency most often requires long stints at our desk. Renee and I share a large office with our desks facing each other, touching. The brilliance of creative brainstorming, negotiations of media placement and carving out business plans all happen in this space.
We have become….well, almost obsessed with wasabi peas! My gentleman friend has always been a fan and I have enjoyed them in moderation over the past several years. The recent months of more work than hours in a day to execute, we have taken to snaking on these little gems! Not for the faint of tongue, they can pack a hot jolt! They are crunchy, tangy and satisfying! We don’t have a particular favorite brand, Aurora hold the current desk equity. If you need a pick-me up while chained at your desk? This would be my tip! My TTT, that is. Have you tried them?

Of course I take pride in this tip…my daughter is the owner of this custom jewelry designer line! Lindsay graduated from Grand Valley State University last December with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, moved to Charlottesville and is now renting a portion of a studio to create her vision! Working full time at another job…she makes time in the studio, sketches creative ideas and is dedicated to her craft. Angel Jewelry currently are creations of sterling silver sometimes utilizing semi-precious stones, glass and shells. She is now creating a line of earrings to accent the design of her pendants.
